Alchemist's Brew Part 4
The Whole Thang
Wireframes
Final Thoughts:
Definitely learned a few things about the stylized painting technique with this project. I did end up learning a bit about 3D Coat while doing this project but regret only using it minimally since the pipeline I chose ended up highly reliant on getting base textures in Substance Painter, then comfortability set in and I ended up hand-painting everything else in there.
I think I will need to go back to the Potion to fix up the actual liquid texture since it definitely looks a little more bland compared to the cauldron. That and the slime I thought I could texture it in-engine but it didn't come out how I wanted. Once I have more time, I will troubleshoot this in the future (soon).

Alchemist's Brew Book & Potion: Pt4
Reference
Renders
Texture Maps
Notes:
I will say the best part about this part of the project was the handpainting parts and learning the different techniques for adding depth and spamming the hell out of ambient occlusion and gradients. Some things I wasn't able to get to, like VFX, will have to be saved until the end of the project. Additionally, I should also be able to work more in 3D Coat as I was only able to handpaint the lock since the other two meshes simply refused to cooperate in 3DC and crash the program immediately.
Surely this next half of the diorama, finishing the branches, pedestal, cauldron, and scroll, won't bring as many issues this next go around *gulp*.
