Very fun to sculpt and UV the overall chest. Didn't have a lot of time to refine some edges and add more tertiary details but a result was achieved! Minor details will be fixed and updated in the near future.

Use of Perspective: Cybernetic Eye

 





    I decided to work on a prop that would likely occur in the Tell-Tale Heart story: An Eye! In the actual story, the main character chops up the old man's body, but I took the creative liberty to assume he would hate the eye that tormented him so much, he would gouge it out in the process of dividing the poor old man. Rough stuff!

   I experimented for the first time with a toon shader material I had found online for the shadows and for the bold outline I had taken the original mesh and reversed the normals. Base color materials were polypainted then edited the rest in Photoshop. The block out itself was modeled in Maya and touched up in Zbrush.

First Rig Ever !



    Not gonna lie, I thought this would be scarier than it actually was. Before this assignment, every time I saw an outliner for any kind of rig, my mind would blue-screen from so many fancy text and words and symbols that made absolutely no sense to me. Now that I possess the knowledge of what all those magic words mean, I can rig anything! :D
